Geoffrey Brown's biography
LATE 80s & 90s
In 1986 I was employed as DIRECTOR of PHOTOGRAPHY on SPOOK an Australian Feature Film starring TIM ELSTON and JOANNE SAMUEL for director DAVID A HALL.
During this time I also was DIRECTOR of PHOTOGRAPHY on THE OPERA HOUSE a Documentary TV special starring STUART WAGSTAFF.
I also worked as Director of Photography on OUTBACK NSW a Documentary for the NSW Tourist Commission.
In 1987 I formed the production company COMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL and in the same year produced and directed a number of corporate videos for LEGO AUSTRALIA, DUNLOP BEDDING. KNEBEL KITCHENS, GOLDEN BANANA, STEEL STOPPERS, VIRGIN RECORDS to name but a few.
In 1990 I was PRODUCER (also CO-DIRECTOR with Derek Strahan) and DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY on the feature film FANTASY, which was distributed through COLOMBIA TRI-STAR worldwide.
For the next 10 years I continued to PRODUCE and DIRECT as well as act as DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY on a number of International and locally released feature films and ancillary market products.
