WITHOUT A CINEMA RELEASE

Our real world example

Sales History of FANTASY

Combridge International's original Erotic thriller 'Fantasy' was produced in 1991

on a 'shoestring budget' of AUD$150,000. The film went on to earn international licensing fees in excess of AUD$450,000

$150,000.00 in 1991 had the same buying power as $263,242.15 in 2015.

$450,000.00 in 1991 had the same buying power as $789,726.46 in 2015.

This without the sales assistance of an International Star or Cinema release. Fantasy was marketed directly by the production company.

So you see it is possible to make a profit on an Independent film without a Cinema release.

In fact if we had a Cinema release I guarantee we wouldn't have

made any money!
